The Dachteras' website starts today to run in its provisional form.

If you bear this rare name you probably wonder, if there are a few people out there having the same name and maybe being connected to you by blood ties. If you are here at this website, you are likely to be interested in it. I hope we can share our knowledge through this site to find common roots. I was surprised to find so many Dachteras during my research . Many of them know something about genealogy of their family, so we must know very much taking this altogether. Let's share our knowledge.

How to use this website

Main part of the website is the online database of Dachteras who live or are already deceased. Access to details is limited and you need to use a special access password. If you'd like to have it, please contact me (you can find my e-mail address below). When you have the access password, you can also download the whole database in a single GEDCOM file to view it (or edit) using a genealogy software of your choice. Names, surnames, dates and locations can be accessed without logging into the database.
